About Me

Hello There I am Maria and I am a self-confessed craft-a-holic. Sewing is both my passion and my therapy.  If I am AWOL I can generally be found in my sewing room, it’s my happy place. I have been sewing since I was small starting with Binca bookmarks progressing to my own clothes, my bridesmaid dresses and followed by my children’s clothes. Later I branched out into soft furnishings, small textile items and gifts. I also like to make patchwork quilts. I am a perfectionist and hope that shows in my work. Many of my creations have been given to family and friends as gifts. After repeatedly being commissioned by family and friends to make items for them to gift on I was persuaded to start an online shop.
